For the Casual Nomad team, providing a comfortable check-in experience for guests ranked squarely among their essential services – right alongside convenient parking and one-of-a-kind style. Travelers needed the freedom and flexibility to arrive on their own terms and feel completely confident from their first moment on site, without any additional steps or mandatory paperwork with in-person staff.

The Keycafe key management system provided a perfect link between Casual Nomad’s digital booking experience and real accommodations. The team used Keycafe’s software integration with Guesty, a one-stop-shop property management platform that they’d already built into their daily workflow. With the support of this software, Casual Nomad could suddenly offer a completely touchless guest experience.

When a guest books a Casual Nomad property, Keycafe generates a code that can be used at a SmartBox to unlock the bin containing the property’s key. Next, Keycafe uploads the code to Guesty. Guesty automatically messages guests with their check-in information, and voila! The code is provided directly in their personal message. Access, unlocked!
